An aggregate of near 350 competitors are participating in the Macuata Zone 2 sports rivalry held at the Labasa Muslim College ground.
Sports Association President Sheik Mohammed Iqbal says the two-day occasion will see seven schools take part and vie for an opportunity to be delegated the Zone champions.
Iqbal says all the field occasions, just as the warms for the 100m occasion, 200m, 400m, and the finals for the 1,500 meters, were finished yesterday.
Track occasions will rule the day today.
In our zone, we have around nine schools however because of the difficulties that Vanua Levu confronted one was the TC and the different was TC Ana – a portion of the schools would not like to have this (opposition). Seven schools, their chiefs gave the affiliation the green light to hold this opposition so we can fail to remember every one of the difficulties that we confronted.”
The Association desires to draw more group on the last day of the opposition today.
