This follows a gift of $77,500 the Ministry got today from Yaadein Vision which will be utilized to help just about 1,200 understudies in 42 schools.

While talking at the TC Yasa School Relief Distribution by United Fiji Community Australia and Yaadein Vision at Guru Nanak Primary School in Labasa today Akbar says when the Ministry had at first met with its partners they had wanted to help 6000 understudies in the most influenced portions of the North.

Akbar says a few associations have additionally moved toward her to give shoes and uniform to the influenced zones.

She says once the school opens, they will demand the heads of schools to send the Ministry a rundown of the help the school needs and afterward they will have the option to help them.

The Ministry is working with the Fiji Teachers Union, Fiji Muslim League, Sathya Sai Service Organization of Fiji, Yaadein Vision, SODELPA, Forklift Fiji and TISI Sangam to furnish understudies with school sacks and writing material to influenced understudies.
