The New Lynn train station in west Auckland was temporarily closed on Thursday morning as police investigated a threat.
Auckland Transport told Newshub the threat was centered on Totara Ave, which runs by the station, but not the station itself, but in a tweet said it was at the station.
Posts on social media reported there was a “big bang” heard following the arrival of a police bomb squad.

Just after 9 am, Auckland Transport said the incident was “resolved” and normal services had resumed.
