72 Fijian peacekeepers who had been sent to the Golan Heights for 18 months will show up in the nation today.
Officer of Republic of Fiji Military Forces, Rear Admiral Viliame Naupoto says these fighters should go through the required multi day isolate period.
He adds that later on, they will get the COVID-19 inoculations according to the method and conventions of the immunization carry out by the Ministry of Health.
“In light of COVID, the UN had mentioned that we broaden our soldiers’ organization so they can set up the conventions, as it was another thing and it was useful for us too. We are grateful for these soldiers who needed to remain on longer than when they were at first conveyed. Furthermore, to their families who are back here in Fiji restlessly hanging tight for them. We are appreciative that at long last, that turn has occurred.”
The RFMF Commander says another 60 Fijian peacekeepers will be sent on the 24th of this current month to alleviate the leftover 56 fighters who are as yet serving at the Golan Heights.
The RFMF has affirmed organizations will proceed with all staff getting the important antibody pre-flight and upon landing in their main goal stations.
