72 Fijian peacekeepers who had been sent to the Golan Heights for 18 months will show up in the nation today.

Officer of Republic of Fiji Military Forces, Rear Admiral Viliame Naupoto says these fighters should go through the required multi day isolate period.

He adds that later on, they will get the COVID-19 inoculations according to the method and conventions of the immunization carry out by the Ministry of Health.

“In light of COVID, the UN had mentioned that we broaden our soldiers’ organization so they can set up the conventions, as it was another thing and it was useful for us too.
