The Fiji Bus Operators Association President Nisar Ali Shah says students travelling before 6.30am will have to pay adult fare.

This comes after larger part of understudies along the Suva-Nausori hallway are currently venturing out from home right on time to try not to be up to speed in rush hour gridlock.

Shah says the time limitation on the e-Transport card has been customized and they don’t have power over it.

“Everything relies upon Vodafone and Ministry of Education, we will adhere to the guidance anyway right now we can’t convey them free of charge. The authority needs to exhort us then we will act in like manner.”

Then, Minister for Education Rosy Akbar says facilitating the limited time on e-transport cards won’t be simple.

The Ministry a year ago had set a limitation on blue financed cards for understudies which is operational from 6.30 in the first part of the day to 9.00 am, and afterward from 2.30pm to 5pm.
