FRA Acting Chief Executive, Kamal Prasad, says for the time being, they are focusing on scaffold undertakings and significant street restoration.

Prasad says the consistent downpour in the course of the most recent couple of weeks has influenced undertakings and timetables.

Notwithstanding, the FRA won’t need to reprioritize post-TC Ana as they have subsidizes effectively saved for recovery after Tropical Cyclone Yasa.

“Since we were partially through the development works when the typhoon came. I figure we haven’t spent a lot of cash on TC Yasa restoration so there isn’t a lot of reprioritization on this.”

The Fiji Roads Authority has continued chips away at a few streets around the Central Division.

Workers for hire are dealing with Brown Street, Nokonoko street and Grantham street.
