Wainiqolo is happy and blessed to be in the national 7s

Previous Flying Fijian winger Jiuta Wainiqolo says he is glad and favored to be in the public 7s preparing crew for the Tokyo Olympics in June, one year from now.

Wainiqolo alongside different individuals from the crew were delivered from camp a week ago to play for their different clubs at the Fiji Bitter Wairiki 7s a weekend ago.

Addressing FBC Sports, Wainiqolo says he’s consistently longed for wearing the white pullover and it’s turning into a reality.

He says he is as yet learning and attempting to get into the arrangement of playing 7s rugby and is giving a valiant effort to fit in.

I’m actually finding out around 7s rugby. It’s acceptable to have encountered major parts (in the crew) gaining from them and I am anticipating be chosen, if the opposition is permitted to be played one year from now.

Wainiqolo was instrumental in FDS Barbarians’ triumph at the Wairiki 7s a weekend ago, where they asserted the $8,000 prize cash.

In the interim, Wainiqolo and his FDS Barbarians partners will be in two differents groups this end of the week for the Kombat Uluinakau 7s.

Fiji 7s mentor Gareth Baber will isolate the public preparing crew into two groups for the Uluinakau 7s which will be hung on Friday and Saturday at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.
