Ba to host semi-final of the OFC Champions League if they win the quarters

The Ba soccer team will host the semi-final of the OFC Champions League if the Men in Black can topple New Caledonia’s top club Hienghene Sport in the quarters.

Ba came close to winning the OFC Champions League in 2007 where they defeated Waitakere United 2-1 at Govind Park but lost their away match 1-0.

Since then, Ba has been trying hard to win the competition but has not been successful.

Ba finished second in their group this season and will play their quarter-final against Hienghene Sport in early April in New Caledonia.

Should Ba win, they will host either Team Wellington or Henderson Eels of Solomon’s in the semis.

The OFC Champions League final will be played in New Zealand or Tahiti.
