Update: 7:13am – Fatehabad district of Haryana recently witnessed a horrendous case of a girl being sexually harassed by her step-father. The alleged assault and rape had been taking place for over 3 months before the girl mustered the courage to inform the women’s helpline about her condition.
Upon information, the police arrived at the given location- a hotel room in Papiha tourist complex from where the man was caught in a compromising position with his daughter. After rescuing the girl, the accused and the victim were taken to the police station where he accepted to his crime of raping and sexually harassing his step-daughter.
The accused had married the victim’s mother a few years ago. It was a second marriage for both the individuals.
The accused is said to be running a private school in the district and the victim teaches computer to the students in the school.
According to reports, the accused has been raping and sexually molesting his step-daughter for over 3 months.
The victim has also taken to booking a room in Papiha tourist complex on several occasions. The girl finally mustered courage and informed the women’s helpline to rescue her from the ordeal.
The police arrived at the hotel immediately and arrested the accused. A case has been filed against him and medical tests have been ordered for the victim.
